About ECPR Press

ECPR Press is an imprint of the European Consortium for Political Research in partnership with Rowman & Littlefield. The Press publishes original research from leading political scientists and the best among early career researchers in the discipline. Its scope extends to all fields of political science, international relations and political thought, without restriction in either approach or regional focus. It is also open to interdisciplinary work with a predominant political dimension.

Proposals for single or co-authored books are encouraged from both established political scientists and early career researchers. This also includes essay volumes bringing together new or previously published work on a particular theme. The series further welcomes proposals for translations of published monographs by well-established scholars currently unavailable in English; or contextualized re-publications of classic books in the field that are no longer available in print. All monograph proposals should make a new empirical and/or theoretical contribution to the discipline.

Studies in European Political Science

Proposals are invited for high-quality, edited volumes on topics at the cutting edge of current political science and political thinking. All volumes should be research-based and offer new perspectives, with contributions from leading scholars working in the relevant fields. Volumes may have originated from ECPR events including the Joint Sessions of Workshops or General Conference.

We welcome proposals for English-language translations, but unfortunately ECPR Press is not able to pay for English-language translations or rights, and nor is it able to commit to a contract without the right to peer review and request necessary changes to any English-language translation before publication.
