THE FOUNDATION FOR CRITICAL THINKING PARTNERS WITH ROWMAN & LITTLEFIELD
The Foundation for Critical Thinking (FCT) has selected Rowman & Littlefield (R&L) as its copublisher and exclusive distributor of the Thinker’s Guides series. Founded by Dr. Richard Paul and Dr. Linda Elder, FCT fosters adoption of critical thinking programs in all levels of education and professional life through seminars, online courses, and a wide range of publications. This new partnership with Rowman & Littlefield will combine FCT’s expertise and authoritative imprint with a commercial publisher already well-established in higher education and professional fields and with a global marketing and distribution network.

Linda Elder, President and Senior Fellow of FCT, says, “Since its inception almost forty years ago, the Foundation for Critical Thinking has originated, created, developed, and published numerous books, guides, textbooks, and other instructional materials illuminating the explicit tools of criticality. We are delighted with our new partnership with Rowman & Littlefield, which will enable us to more intensely focus on developing publications that advance and contextualize critical thinking within essential fields of academic and professional study. We know this new partnership will enable the Foundation’s work to find even more new readers and thus influence the next generation of thinkers even more.“

“We are delighted and honored to have the chance to bring FCT’s books to audiences around the world and copublish new resources for professionals and students,” said R&L Acquisitions Editor Natalie Mandziuk, who will spearhead the partnership on the R&L side. “Together, FCT and R&L will become a go-to provider within the critical thinking discipline and fuel ongoing integration of critical thinking within all academic disciplines and areas of life.”
