ASSISTANT ACQUISITIONS EDITOR
Assistant Acquisitions Editor (L-24-13)


Rowman & Littlefield is seeking an Acquisitions Editor for its Lexington imprint to build a monograph list in the humanities or social sciences. The editor will build series, attend conferences, and solicit proposals from scholars to build a list quickly. The editor will review proposals, handle contract negotiations, oversee peer review, and prepare manuscripts for transmittal to production. The editor will also oversee the publishing process for each title, including serving as primary liaison with the production and marketing departments.

Requirements

Candidates should have 2-3 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in the humanities or social sciences, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
