RETURNS SUPERVISOR - RETURNS DEPARTMENT (B-86-18)
Rowman & Littlefield is seeking a Returns Supervisor. This position coordinates and supervises all functions of the Returns Department.
Updates and distributes accurate daily reports
Insures open work transactions are completed in a timely manner
Researches problems with inventory, customer accounts, and price points
Assures that all returned stock is accurately credited to the appropriate customer's account
Assures that all returned stock is accurately sorted for restocking or pulping
Trains employees to follow WMW procedures and does not deviate from written procedures
Maintains all procedures for pulping stock
Coordinates returns deliveries with customers and/or carriers
Directly supervises employees in the Returns Department
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
