TEAM LEAD – RETURNS (B-83-18 & B-86-18)
National Book Network is seeking two Team Leads for the Returns Department. Assist supervisor in coordinating activities for returns warehouse workers, equipment operators and returns processors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assigns workers to work stations or equipment to meet production requirements
  • Understands and interprets the return process flow for new employees and trains new employees accordingly
  • Monitors return production and adjusts work assignments to meet daily returns production goals
  • Monitors Book Master for returns processing accuracy and production
  • Confers with supervisor to receive instructions and exchange production information
  • Assists in training workers in equipment operation
  • Supervises the returns department in the absence of the Supervisor
  • Lifting up to 70 lbs. occasionally
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervises employees
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Education and/or Experience:
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in warehousing or management
Language Skills:
  • Must have a working knowledge of Excel, Word, E-mail and WMS programs
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Hours: M-F, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (overtime as needed)
