Craig Brandon is the author of eight books. He won the silver award in the education category from Foreward Review's book of the year competition in 2011. His writing has also earned him the Charles Stewart Mott Award and first prize in education reporting by the Education Writers Association. He has also won awards from the National School Boards Association, the Golden Apple Award from the New York State United Teachers, and the Associated Press, Gannett Newspapers, and the Hearst Newspapers.
He is currently retired and lives on Robert Frost Mountain in the Green Mountains National Forest in Ripton, Vermont, with his wife Jean, and is working on new writing projects.
