Art Stricklin has written several books on Texas golf, worked as a sports journalist and editor for thirteen years, and freelanced for national and regional golf publications. Messing with Texas golf history, that's another story. There's so much of it that you can't fit it all, in detail, in one book. Links, Lore, & Legends is a smorgasbord of Lone Star heroes and trivia, full of stuff you probabl know (are there any Ben Hogan stories you haven't heard by now?) and stuff you probably don't know (Long Drivers of America Tour founder Art Sellinger is a Texan).
