Karen Collins is the Chair of the Department of Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire and directs their Leadership Development Program for female student athletes. An expert in coach development and coaching education, coaching philosophy, and leadership development, Dr. Collins has also served as the Sport Studies Program Coordinator, College of Health and Human Services Faculty Fellow for Teaching Excellence, and a Sport Psychology Consultant for the Department of Athletics. She is a recipient of the CHHS Teaching Excellence Award. Prior to her career in higher education, Dr. Collins coached collegiately at Princeton University, Dartmouth College, and UNH, as well as in the youth development program for USFHA. Most recently, she was named to the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) National Advisory Board.
Kristen Dieffenbach is an associate professor of Athletic Coaching Education at West Virginia University and the director of the CPASS Center for Applied Coaching and Sport Sciences. She is currently the president of the United States Center for Coaching Excellence (USCCE), a national organization that supports the systems and professionals that provide sport coaching education and development. A former Division I NCAA athlete, she has coached for over 25 years working with junior, elite and masters’ athletes and has an elite USA Cycling license and a Level II endurance specialization from USA Track and Field. Dieffenbach is also a certified mental performance consultant (CMPC) with the Association of Applied Sport Psychology and she consults with athletes and coaches across all levels of sport.
Cameron Kiosoglous is an assistant professor at Drexel University. He was a National Team and Olympic coach with USRowing from the 2002 to 2018, including at the 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. He currently serves as the Coordinator of Sport Science at USRowing and has worked with a variety of organizations in coaching development.
