Harold L. Karpman, MD, is the author of the books Your Second Life and Preventing Silent Heart Disease and dozens of scientific papers. He was the founder of a large cardiology group practice in Beverly Hills, was on the attending staffs of the UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Centers, and was an Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine.
