Chantale Pard received Master's in Library and Information Science at Western University in 2013. She held positions in a variety of different library settings before settling in at Halifax Public Libraries, where she has been the Youth Services Librarian at Keshen Goodman Public Library for more than five years. It is here where she leads a busy and successful team of youth programmers through a variety of classic and pop culture programs at one of the busiest and biggest public libraries east of Montreal. She also runs Keshen Goodman’s popular and established Anime Club, which means she is often sought after for advice on Anime themed library programming.
Pard presents great entry level STEM ideas that any library program can adapt quickly. This book is definitely an accessible introduction to STEM programming for the budding new Maker Librarian!

STEM Programming for All Ages covers a variety of important topics in STEM, including tips and hands-on activities at the intersection of STEM, the arts, and the 'Maker Movement.' Its recommendations for creating dialogue-based, interactive programs and growing local partnerships are especially timely and valuable.
