Bill was born and raised in New York City. He writes about John Steinbeck, Davy Crockett, the Alamo, and September 11, 2001. He has been a member of the Western Writers of America since 1993, and has served on the WWA’s executive board twice. He looks forward to attending the WWA’s convention every year where he lends his voice and guitar to the nightly music.
