Ann Nyberg is a founding Board of Trustees member of the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center (it’s nicknamed “The Kate,” which I coined) in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. She is the longest-serving Anchor/Reporter in station history at WTNH-TV (ABC) in New Haven, Connecticut and hosts her own online show called NYBERG where interviews movie and shakers and innovators and entrepreneurs and every day folks who have a story. Ann has been a storyteller her entire life, it started with a diary her mother gave her for Christmas when she was 8 years old. She has been nominated for multiple Emmys, has interviewed the famous and everyday folks—all with equally important stories to tell. She began her broadcast journalism career right after graduation from Purdue University with a degree in journalism. Highlights of her career include assignments to Cuba and to the Vatican. Her popular website, “Network Connecticut” spotlights people, places and small businesses all over the state. Ann also has a boutique in Madison, Connecticut where she sells vintage items and things made in Connecticut. She is also the author of Slices of Life, A Storyteller’s Diary (Homebound Publications).
