Basing their material on the ten standards of the National Council for the Social Studies, Marlow and Inman present activities for us in kindergarten through 4th grade classrooms. With one chapter for each standard, descriptions of activities provide summaries and objectives of activities, descriptions of physical and intellectual resources needed, detailed procedures for conducting activities, examples of adaptations that can be made, listings of children's literature to use with the topics covered, and annotated sets of technology resources.
