The discussion is bolstered by interviews with renowned singers who supply advice for practice and performance. A catalog of selected songs featuring information on each work's poet, key, range, and German-English translation is also provided.

Author

Loralee Songer is an active recitalist, opera and oratorio performer, conductor, and educator. She holds a doctor of arts degree in vocal performance and choral conducting from Ball State University and teaches applied voice, music-related courses and directs the women’s chorale at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
