Robert L. Snow served as a police officer with the Indianapolis Police Department for more than 38 years, retiring in 2007 with the rank of captain. During his time at the police department he served in such capacities as Police Department Executive Officer, Commander of the Homicide Branch, and Commander of the Organized Crime Branch. Snow has also been a published writer for more than 30 years. He has had over 100 articles and short stories published in such national magazines as Playboy, Reader’s Digest, the National Enquirer, Action Digest, Police, and many others. In addition he has written over a dozen books, including Policewomen Who Made History, SWAT Teams, Looking for Carroll Beckwith, and Stopping A Stalker.
