This book is not one that will be read cover to cover, but it is one that will be 'well thumbed' as it provides a great deal of useful knowledge for researchers on professional basketball or coaches in general. The book has been meticulously researched and is up to date through the 2001-2002 season. The author, Jeff Marcus, is an actor but his experience as a proofreader and editor make this a book that displays thorough research, wit and clear love of the subject....The detail and accuracy of Marcus's research is most impressive....On almost every page there was some fact that was new to me and I am sure that readers will find the book packed with useful information....I would certainly urge researchers to have their institutions purchase this excellent resource.
