Margaret Johnston, formerly a children's librarian with the Toronto Public Library, was Coordinator of Boys and Girls Services from 1970 to 1976. Her career has included consultancing and writing for such journals as The Horn Book, In Review, and Canadian Library Journal.
Adele M. Fasick is a professor at the Faculty of Library and Information Science, University of Toronto. She has written articles for Canadian Library Journal, Top of the News, and Library Trends, and is co-author of Child View: Evaluating and Reviewing Materials for Children.
