Picking up where the original checklist (1975) ended, this second series lists over 5,200 titles of books published by American poets between 1973 and 1983. It is the only comprehensive listing of poetry published in America by both major publishing houses and small presses. The arrangement is alphabetical by the poet's surname, with each publication assigned a number. Place of publication, publisher, and date of publication are included for each title. An index of titles is also included.
