In Jumping from the Ivory Tower, Dr. Rosemarie Russo persuasively argues that integrating environmental education, service learning, and a placed-based focus provides an effective approach for solving pressing environmental problems and advancing the civic development of students. Russo's book is well worth reading. It could not be timelier.
