Charles Laurie is a social scientist currently undertaking research at the University of Oxford on the land seizure era in Zimbabwe. The primary focus of this study is to identify various socio-political consequences of farm acquisition, asset seizure, and the associated violence. During his time as a graduate student at the University of Cambridge, he studied the role of foreign aid in Britain's political relationship with Zimbabwe.
