Faisons Des Progres!
Manuel De Conversation
John C. Janc
This all-French conversation text is designed to bring students from intermediate to advanced language proficiency. The text combines culture, grammar, vocabulary, acquisition, and conversation in an original and challenging fashion. It is designed with a number of goals in mind. The first is to help students strengthen their linguistic abilities at the intermediate level as defined by the ACTFL proficiency guidelines. The second is to provide them with ample opportunity to progress from the intermediate level to the advanced level. It is also meant to help students begin to acquire certain skills that are characteristic of the superior level. A fourth goal deals with vocabulary, grammar and situations. The course is designed to review basic vocabulary and grammar and to expand upon them. It is also built around situations and topics that students who visit a French-speaking country will encounter.
