Contemporary Galician Culture in a Global Context: Movable Identities offers an insightful examination of Galician cultural history and in-depth analysis of current social phenomena such as migration, minority languages, local traditions, and popular culture in the context of globalization. The excellent close readings of Galician writers, musicians, cultural sites, and filmmakers are especially welcome. This is a major contribution to the field of Iberian cultural studies that will be an important resource for students and scholars in the field.
