Learning Innovations Series
The Learning Innovations Series will feature multiple volumes that correspond to themes at several conferences planned annually for the next five years. These conferences will examine free-choice learning as it relates to various familiar learning environments or areas of social concern. Tentatively planned are conferences on museums, libraries, the environment, early childhood activities, and health but actual may evolve. While these books will not be conference proceedings they will reflect and build upon presentations and topic discussions at each of the conferences. It is expected that the books will apprise readers of the current challenges in utilizing free-choice learning activities to promote awareness of the conference topic. They will examine successes, problems, insights, and new areas for research. Each volume will be guest edited and comprise essays from a variety of conference participants.
