Womanist biblical scholarship is a field “coming of age.” WRS publishes monographs and collected essay volumes, and considers more experimental works that demonstrate academic excellence, engage the field, and expand and enrich Womanist hermeneutical discourse about Scripture and its deployment in the academy and in contemporary ecclesiastical and social contexts.
