Modern Southeast Asia
The increased visibility and prominence of Southeast Asia and the societies therein on the global stage during the early years of the 21st century have attracted a deservedly rich and vibrant interest among academics, policy-makers, and social commentators. Southeast Asia collectively constitutes one of the most diverse, dynamic, and globally critical regions. This series provides a compelling platform for a diverse range of scholars to engage in discourses on the multitude of critical and timely intra-regional, trans-regional, and societal-specific analyses pertaining to Southeast Asia. The series welcomes proposals and manuscripts from the various social sciences and humanities, including contributions that profile interdisciplinary scholarship which makes a distinctive contribution to the understanding of Southeast Asia.
