Crossing Borders in a Global World: Applying Anthropology to Migration, Displacement, and Social Change
Current migrants, refugees, and travelers cross political, social, cultural, and identity borders and directly confront the challenges of globalization in the process of displacement, incorporation, and adaptation to new settlements. This series addresses these challenges and their intersections with national, ethnic, gender, and generational identities. Books in this series provide a range of interdisciplinary theoretical and methodological frameworks that scholars and practitioners can use both in the classroom and in applied work. This series is of value to scholars, advanced undergraduate and graduate students, and practitioners interested in the impact of displacements, migration, and social and cultural changes in contemporary societies.
