Diverse Sexualities, Genders, and Relationships
The Diverse Sexualities, Genders, and Relationships Series highlights evidence-based approaches to understanding and serving diverse individuals and families whose relational or sexual practices or identities have been marginalized and understudied; reports of emerging empirical research on these topics; and analyses of the latest trends in cultural and societal developments on the status and place of diverse sexualities, genders and relationships. Books in the series emphasize the intersections of race, culture, age, social class, (dis)ability, and other factors that shape the social locations of relational, sexual and gender minorities as they intersect with institutions in fields such as education, law, medicine, religion, and public policy.

The books in this series will serve as sound and critical resources for the training and continuing education of professionals directly serving diverse communities, in professions such as counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, healthcare, criminology, human services and education. They will also be useful for educators teaching undergraduate and graduate level university courses in anthropology, cultural studies, gerontology, psychology, sexuality studies, sociology, and women’s and gender studies. Finally, these books will interest educated laypeople who wish to better understand diversity among relational, sexual and gender minorities.
