Social Science / Children's Studies
This series seeks interdisciplinary scholars whose work critically addresses the racialization of criminal justice systems. Grounded within the connective space of history, the nuances of race continue to define the standard of how justice is applied throughout policing, courts, and correctional systems. As such, this series is open to examine monographs and edited volumes that critically analyze race from multiple narratives—sociopolitical, cultural, feminist, psychosocial, ecological, critical theory, philosophical—along criminal justice lines. Critical Perspectives on Race, Crime, and Justice speaks to the significant scholarship being produced in an era where race continues to intersect with crime and justice.
