Political Science / Public Policy / Cultural Policy
The aim of this series is to contribute to a better understanding of the many problems confronting all Asian states in the transition from the Cold War era to the post-Cold War world. The series explores the political, economic, social, and cultural influences on foreign policy and international relations issues that are hotly contested in every Asian country and that are shaping both domestic and Asian regional orders. The series thus emphasizes recent changes in the political development of each Asian country--new actors, new problems, new institutions, and new ideas--and how each Asian country copes with the twin problems of globalization from above and fragmentation from below.
